Refunds, Cancellations and Returns Policy

Refunds, Cancellations and Returns Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through Clearer Training, including physical products, digital learning materials, online courses, and face to face training.

By placing an order or booking a course with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

  1. Physical Products

If you purchase a physical product from us, you may request a return within 30 days of the date of delivery, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item is unused and in the same condition as received
  • The item is returned in its original packaging
  • All tags, seals, and protective packaging remain intact
  • The item shows no signs of wear, use, or damage

The following items are non-returnable, unless faulty or not as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Customised or personalised products
  • Products supplied as part of a training course
  • Any item that has been opened or used where hygiene, sterility, or safety is a factor

To request a return, please email info@clearertraining.co.uk with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for return. A member of our team will respond within two working days.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  1. Digital Content and E Learning

Digital content includes online courses, downloadable materials, and e learning content.

In accordance with Regulation 38 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, access to digital content is provided immediately upon booking.

By purchasing digital content, you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once access has been provided.

For this reason, all digital content is nonrefundable once access has been granted.

The e learning element of our training courses is priced at £360 and is non refundable once access has been provided.

  1. Face to Face and Practical Training Courses

Face to face and practical training courses are services provided on a specific date or within a specific period.

Under Regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the statutory right to cancel does not apply once the course date has passed.

Bookings are subject to the following cancellation terms:

  • More than 4 weeks before the course start date. Full refund of the face to face or residential element only
  • Between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the course start date. 50 percent refund of the face to face or residential element only
  • 2 weeks or less before the course start date. No refund

Refunds apply to the practical or residential element only. The digital learning element remains nonrefundable.

  1. Attendance, Participation, and Course Satisfaction

Once you have attended a face to face course or commenced the practical element of your training, the service is deemed to have been delivered and the booking becomes nonrefundable.

In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, training services are provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee outcomes, competence levels, confidence to practise independently, or suitability for specific roles.

If you have any concerns regarding course content, delivery, supervision, or curriculum, you must notify a member of the training team during the course and at the time the issue arises. This allows us the opportunity to address concerns promptly.

Failure to raise concerns during the course will be taken as confirmation that the training delivered was accepted as satisfactory.

Refund requests submitted after attendance based on dissatisfaction or confidence levels will not be accepted.

  1. Transfers and Substitutions

Course places are allocated to individual delegates and are not automatically transferable.

Requests to transfer to an alternative course date or to substitute another attendee must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval. Additional fees may apply.

  1. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds outside of this policy are considered strictly at our discretion and only in exceptional circumstances.

Supporting evidence may be required. Approval of a discretionary refund does not set a precedent for future cases.

  1. Payment Processing Fees

Where a refund is approved, a payment processing fee of 3 percent will be deducted from the refund amount.

This deduction reflects non recoverable transaction and card processing costs charged by payment providers at the time of purchase and refund, as permitted under Regulation 34 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

The refunded amount will be the original purchase price minus the 3 percent processing fee and will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

This fee will not be applied where a refund is required by law due to our fault.
