This one-day course covers both the theoretical and practical techniques required for removing earwax via microsuction and irrigation for patients, including hands-on exercises to help you get the most out of your training.
Microsuction and irrigation procedures involve softening the earwax so that it may be removed from the ear canal by specialist equipment and techniques. You will learn the step-by-step procedures for each stage of the process and during the training you will perform supervised procedures upon live participants, in order to gain the expertise required to practice safely.
Your training will be provided by practising, experienced healthcare workers with the up-to-date knowledge and skills to help you become proficient in these techniques.
